Join Dr. Mark Sobor as he explains his clinical experience in the effective treatment of upper arm and neck pain through the use of acupuncture, dry needling, and myofascial trigger point injections. These treatment options provide the physician with a safe and effective approach to pain management that is profitable for the practice and satisfactory for the patient. Use of homeopathic injections for the management of acute and chronic pain will be taught. Dr. Sobor will cover case studies as well as demonstrate the various acupuncture techniques he utilizes to resolve pain.

Course Description
This course is an introduction to myofascial trigger point therapy using acupuncture, dry needling techniques, and trigger point injections. Emphasis is given to hands-on palpitory evaluation and safe use of needling and injection techniques.

workshop will answer questions and teach techniques to treat common pain disorders that

About Dr. Sobor
Dr. Mark Sobor completed his Family Practice residency at St. Joseph Hospital in Chicago, IL.
He is board certified by the American Academy of Family Practice. He completed the
UCLA Medical Acupuncture course in 1998. Dr. Sobor is a member of the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture, American Academy of Family Physicians, and Chicago Medical Society.
Dr. Sobor has been in private practice since 1993 and currently is the Medical Director of SOMA
Medical Clinic in Chicago, IL.
